Microblepharoexfoliation

Microblepharoexfoliation is a dry eye treatment to clean the eyelids/lashes and includes microexfoliation of the eyelid margins to remove bacteria and biofilm buildup. This treatment is especially helpful in patients with blepharitis (with or without demodex mites), ocular rosacea and or meibomian gland dysfunction. In addition, it is an important part of optimizing the ocular surface in preparation for ocular surgery (e.g. cataracts or LASIK).
